Last week when my brother met me at my house for a little junk outing, he picked up something that was in my dining room and said "wow, that's a nice piece". I looked over and he was talking about my Howard Pierce Roadrunner. I originally bought the piece to sell (over 7 years ago). I think they sell for somewhere around $100 and I paid a measly $6 for him so I thought it was a pretty good deal right? Well I think I often kid myself about resale (I have good intentions but sometimes it just doesn't work out, I just get too attached). The longer he hung around the more I fell in love with him. Now I just don't think I could part with this sweet little guy for anything!
I know exactly what you mean, I have a few items that I paid very little for and are selling at a very good price, but I just can't bring myself to sell them.
