What a great weekend for Junk Hunting! I met my brother on Friday morning at an Estate Sale on the Hill (I couldn't convince Mom to go). The sale was held at a very charming cottage that I just fell in love with (half the fun of going to the sales on the Hill is getting to look in all those old gorgeous houses). I was first in line and had spotted a few things from the online photo's that I was going to make a bee line for once the door opened. Funny that things didn't turn out the way I envisioned and I actually found better stuff once I got inside the house. I picked the main floor and then met my brother in the basement and we had so much fun digging through all the junk that we found down there. Some of my best stuff came from the basement and I will post about that later. Of course I had to make one more round back up in the house before I could call it quits. I picked up an old Cocktail book and was getting ready to check out for the last time when the lady said the Cocktail book was $3. I thought that was kind of high for a small paper book so I told her I was going to put it back. As I was returning the book back to where I found it I finally noticed what it was sitting on. I saw these big red wheels. Big Red Metal Wheels! Oh my goodness, I was so giddy when I finally took in the beautiful old bar cart that had been sitting there the whole time (I mean I must have walked by it about 10 times and didn't even notice it - how does that happen?). Lucky for me no one else seemed to have noticed it either. I asked if it was for sale and how much (there wasn't a tag on it). When she said $45, I said "SOLD". I have been wanting one of these for a long time. I actually saw one at the Scott's show (you can see it here) and they wanted $800 for it so it had to stay in Atlanta. So happy to find one that was priced right and could make the trip home with me. She's all dressed up and ready to go!

That's the coolest bar cart I've ever seen! I've been in the "can't see the forest for the trees" mode at estate sales before. Sometimes I've lost out completely. Other times I've lucked out and focused on the good stuff just in time. You got a real gem!

Are those letters in the background part of that cart, or did you add them? I mean, it's fabulous with or without those letters but if they're actually part of the cart...that bumps it to a whole 'nother level of amazing! SUPER FIND!
