Like many of you, I always pick up vintage ornaments I come across at estate sales, yard sales, and thrift stores. So over a period of time I have accumulated quite a collection in all sizes, shapes and colors. I use them to decorate my home and to embelish Christmas presents. Nothing is prettier than a Christmas package with vintage ornament weaved in the ribbon. This year I created a new display using an urn I picked up at a yard sale. I knew when I bought it that it would be perfect to hold some of my beautiful vintage ornaments.
I love the way it turned out!
Hope everyone is enjoying the Holidays!

These vintage ornaments are certainly eye candy. Oh, how pretty they look in the urn. I love, love, love those sweet birds!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I found some vintage baubles at a carboot sale this morning. They are now on one of my trees.
ReplyDeleteThat looks lovely - a collection always looks so impressive when it is grouped en masse doesn't it? You have a lovely collection!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Perfect way to set off the urn!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful way to display vintage ornaments. I adore the bird ornament. Thanks for sharing this nice display idea.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a wonderful collection of vintage ornaments. I especially love the bird ones. I have a new love for urns. Everytime I find one it's like way pricey. Saw two in a store, one vintage and one reproduction. Not that large and they were $125 each. I picked up one that looks alot like yours for only $10. That's because it's not cast iron or cement. I need to paint it. Did you paint yours silver, or was it like that? It sure looks gorgeous with your ornaments.
ReplyDeleteI love those little birds in there!
