Moving Back In

Just before Christmas I ripped up all the carpet upstairs and had hardwood flooring put down. I love it! However, my house has been a disaster for quite a while now and I am so ready to get things back to normal. I am really trying to take my time with decorating my Sewing Room/Etsy Shop/Studio/Office and not rush things. Sometimes I have to move things around until it looks just right to me. Anyway, here is peak at the floors.

I just love them. I did have to go back and paint the trim after they finished (I took the pictures before I painted the trim).

So today I have been working on unpacking some of my stuff and trying to get things back in order.

I haven't really posted much lately on my junking adventures (Dec and Jan are usually slow for me) but have no fear I am still junking. I have picked up a treasure or two over the past couple of weeks.

My Etsy shop has been doing well, but I have not had a lot of time to list over the past couple of months. Most of this will go to Etsy but I am keeping the little chenille chick (he is adorable),

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

  1. The floor is gorgeous! Can't wait to see the finished room all put back together!! :)

  2. Love the floor! I would say you have found some great things in this slow winter time! That blue deer is adorable!

  3. I love hardwood floors! We have them in our home! How nice to "start" over in your room! I really need to clean mine's become a storage room instead of my craft room...Nice finds!

  4. Your floors look great! I just ripped up carpet in my bedroom and stained the concrete to match the other in my house. Now only one bedroom has carpet left! Awesome finds too! Blessings, Cecilia

  5. i love that chick, and the little christmas tree!

  6. Funny how bare floors are all the rage now days when wall to wall carpet became the in thing no one would had thought things would go back to bare floorboards again.

  7. can't wait for you to list the vintage wedding cake topper... I'm interested in that for my wedding :)
