Scott Antique Show Part 2 - The Things that I did bring Home

Last night I posted about our trip to the Scott Antique Show in Atlanta GA and posted some photos of the things that I wanted but did not come home with me. You can read about it here. So now on to the things that did come home with me. For a while now I have been wanting a set of french bistro chairs in white and bingo I found a set of six. Here they are at the show (I wanted the table too, but had to pass on it).

Here they are in my home, four for the breakfast room and one for my bedroom, plus I have a spare.

Outside under one of the tents I spotted this baby, I think there are many ways I can put her to use.

She has beautiful rusty metal wheels, basket can come out and she folds up. I think she will go in my sewing room to hold fabric. Please forgive the dust, she has not been cleaned up yet.

Those were my bigger purchases, but I did make a few smaller purchases to include a piece of linen, some old skeleton keys, some apothecary bottles, a metal letter, a neat little bottle carrier, and an etched glass Cloche Bell Jar (not vintage but pretty).

It was a lovely day and it was nice to spend time with mom and my brother looking at tons of antiques. Again, please check my earlier post on what did not come home with me, you must see the 1940's Bar Cart and for those of you that have picked up the creepy dolls in your thrifting adventures you need to see the creepy doll art I photographed (I am surprised I did not have nightmares).

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

  3. Lovely finds! I really like the apothecary jars. The wire bottle carrier is very cool. I think storing fabric in the wheeled wire cart is a great idea! I love all your purchases. Great stuff!

  4. Beautiful items, all of them. The metal cart brought back memories of laundry days when I was little. My mother had a cart just like that, and I remember it fondly. The cloche is very pretty, and the bottles are keys are my favorites. ❤
