Furniture (and lots of it)!

Mom and I don't usually purchase a lot of furniture but this past week that was all we bought. We attended an estate sale at a house that was full of furniture. In fact that is pretty much all there was at the sale (not a lot of small stuff). I am going to keep this short and let the photo's do the talking.

 Very Cool!
Chess/Checkers/Backgammon Game Table with Bakelite Chips
I am not sure of the date of the table (still doing a little research)
Mom and I bought this together.

I bought this
60's or 70's End Table
Will need a paint job.
How great would it be painted white with a clock face on top!

Mom bought this fabulous vintage french provincial bedroom set.
There was a night stand too that I didn't get a picture of. I took these photo's at the sale since I never get pictures of Mom's stuff.

She also bought this vanity and tray table.
(Check out that Blue Carpet)

One non furniture item that I bought was this Granite Ware Canner/Preserver
Hoping Mom will teach me how to use it!

Since we did our junking during the week, I stayed home over the weekend and did some nesting. I enjoyed sitting on my porch reading in the cool weather that we were blessed with today. I also worked on getting my linen collection under control. I laundered, pressed and organized all my table clothes, napkins and cocktail napkins and put them up in thier new home (the red chest). It's been a wonderful weekend and I am hoping you had a wonderful weekend as well!

  1. Some very good pieces, I don't ever see Estate Sales in my area. Would love to redo some of your pieces.
